the Wasp
_____
Flat-panel designs are hard to sketch. The hand wants to do curves.
I can fit this design, the Wasp, into the novel as the beginning of the second generation of Tellurian Motors vehicles, after the founder has passed.
The founder's son (my main character) knows he can't match his father's mastery of flat-panel design, and decides to go in a different direction for the new model he feels pressured to introduce.
Crude sketch, I know, but it'll do for now.
