Welcome to The Rainy Day Store! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out our auction. We spend a lot of time and energy picking out beautiful clothing items and putting together these collections just for you.

We love EBay, but because some of their policies leave things in a gray area, we have to add some additional terms to our auctions to make sure we can afford to keep giving you these amazing deals.

SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! This wonderful clothing collection took many hours for us to create and make available to you, the savvy, educated and busy woman. If you are not this woman, please do not bid. Any smart, serious shopper knows it requires a lot of time to try to recover our expenses from the phony EBayers out there, and we do not get reimbursed for everything we put into our auction when a fraudster bids and chooses to not pay us. We would rather spend this time putting together new clothing collections for you!

If you have a 0-5 EBay rating PLEASE CONTACT US before you Bid or Buy because we reserve the right to cancel your bid if you fail to contact us (psst...this is how we figure out who is actually bothering to read our auction terms). Due to the number of auctions we are running, we prefer you contact us within 48 hours after the auction ends because it makes it much easier for us to send you your packages quickly. If something beyond your control prevents you from paying within our specified time frame PLEASE CONTACT US because if you leave us in the dark, we have to assume you are never going to pay for your auction (see our Payment requirements for details).

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the size of our lots and the time and energy involved in their making we do not accept returns.

Payment

All bidders with a 0-5 rating must pay for their auction within 3 days of the end of auction. All other bidders must pay for their auction within 5 days of the end of auction. Failure to pay will forfeit your right to the auction. We will immediately re-list any unpaid auctions. We will also file a non-payment form with eBay for all auctions that have been left unpaid, which could result in account suspension. We only accept PAYPAL. We will leave positive feedback for you as soon as payment clears.

Shipping

Our auctions come from a smoke-free, pet friendly home. We keep our clothing away from our pets and inspect all clothing items for stray hairs while they are being packed, but one or two hairs may make it into the package without our knowledge. We do not press our clothing before they are packaged because they will most likely wrinkle during shipping and we assume you will want to prewash your "New-to-You" clothing with your preferred detergent and softeners.

We do not overcharge for shipping! These lots consist of several items of clothing (as opposed to half clothing and half jewelry) and our shipping rate is calculated based on the weight and size of the package to your zone. We do add a small fee to cover our expenses for packaging materials and the time it takes to package them with care.

We require signature confirmation for all packages. If you are not able to sign for or pick up your package at your local Post Office you may wish to make other arrangements before you bid or buy. We do not ship clothing lot packages to P.O. Box addresses under any circumstances.

Auction items will be shipped to the winner within 24 hours after PAYMENT CLEARS. We recommend PRIORITY MAIL - it costs a little extra but you will get your package faster and you will be able to track its progress. All packages require signature authorization, therefore you must provide us with a physical mailing address. We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses. Delays caused by the shipping carrier are not something we can predict or control. Please do not leave negative feedback or a slow shipping rating due to issues with the shipping carrier. Local pickup is NOT AVAILABLE - no exceptions! Insurance is optional but highly recommended.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
